Music that activates my piloreceptors

1. Lazy Line Painter Jane – Belle & Sebastian. Being a rebel is fine; but you go all the way to being brutal.

2. The General Specific – Band of Horses. In time I’d find, a little way to your heart.

3. Atomic – Blondie. Tonight, make it magnificent.

Piazza, New York Catcher

Elope with me Miss Private and we’ll sail around the world.

I will be your Ferdinand and you my wayward girl.

How many nights of talking in hotel rooms can you take.

How many nights of limping around on pagan holidays.

Oh, elope with me in private and we’ll set something ablaze.

A trail for the devil to erase.

My lot in life.

My lot in life is fine.

It’s awesome actually.

So where does this feeling of restlessness and boredom come from? Mostly late at night when I think about the future. And when I realise that the future is going to be the same as the past. But with slightly better hair.

It’s not even a matter of making my future ALL THAT IT CAN BE, because it already is.

Maybe it’s just not bohemian or exciting enough for me. I seem to have this incurable delusion of riding trains and bikes through European countries in the Summertime. Wearing vintage fashions and learning how to use my Dad’s old Nikon. Drinking sangria in Spain and beer in Germany.

I don’t even like beer.
